Chiefs +9 @ Patriots

The Patriots are returning an undoubtedly scary team for their title defense. This reflects that fact. The Chiefs are likely coming into the season slightly overvalued, given their outperformance last year. That said, the Chiefs pass rush is fully healthy for the first time in several years and Brady will be without one of his main security blankets. There are enough moving pieces on the Patriots offense and just enough talent on the Chiefs to make me think this game could stay competitive. If it does, then +9 is a very solid line
