Week 15 Picks
Buffalo +4.5 vs Green Bay
Obviously Green Bay is a far superior team, but their defense has taken a step back when on the road. Conversely, Buffalo's defense is still playing quite well and has a chance to keep this game close.
Atlanta +3 vs Pittsburgh
Atlanta has been playing much better, especially on offense, and we think they can continue that trend against a good but not great opponent. Even if Julio Jones can't go 100%, it is important to remember that it's Matt Ryan who makes this offense move, and he is quite good at home.
New York -3 @ Tennessee
Our previous two picks were on home underdogs, but neither of those teams were Tennessee. We continue to believe that Tennessee is the worst team in the league, and we like New York to run their way to a victory.
Seattle -9.5 (120) vs San Francisco
Yes, people do realize that San Francisco is bad, but they are still giving this team credit for what the past San Francisco teams have done. We really can't imagine San Francisco scoring a lot in this game and like Seattle to win a low scoring, but wide margin game.
Denver -4.5 @ San Diego
Many analysts have been down on Denver, but Denver still leads the league in total DVOA. They have a fantastic run defense and can score points on anyone. San Diego was better than we expected last week, but New England really made that game closer than it should have been. We think Denver is much better.
